     In 2000, after 5 years of development and tesing by a team of computer programers and Master Custom Clubmakers, Golf Perfect Software, LLC, introduced "The Golf Perfect Golf Clubmaking Software" to assist amateur and professional clubmakers in fitting themselves and their customers. It quickly became the world's #1 bestselling golf clubmaking / clubfitting / swingweight software.

     It was originally sold exclusively through the Golf Perfect Software www.golfperfect.com website. As demand increased, the company added the www.golfclubmaking.com website. From 2002 - 2005, the software was also sold through the Golfsmith catalog and retail stores, by agreement with Tom Wishon, who then worked for Goflsmith.

     In 2006, Golf Perfect Software again became the exclusive distributor of the software. It was updated to include hybrid clubs and components, and is used worldwide by both professional clubmakers and by amateur golfers who are building their own custom golf clubs.

    In 2007, Golf Perfect Software introduced "The Golf Perfect Complete Golf Clubmakers Business Kit," an all-in-one solution for those who own and run clubmaking and club repair businesses and shops, large and small. The Kit was originally sold exclusivley through the www.golfshopmanager.com website.

     In 2008, after examining the spinefinders then on the market, the company decided to design one that is sturdier, easier to use, more versatile, and gives more value for the money. The result was "The Golf Perfect 'Pro Model' Spinefinder," which became an immediate bestseller.

     In 2008, in an effort to keep costs down for clubmakers, "The Golf Perfect 'Compact Model' Spinefinder" was introduced and became our bestselling spine finder. Additional spinefinders were added in 2010.

With the addition of the spinefinders to the sales inventory, the company changed its name from Golf Perfect Software to simply Golf Perfect.
